From 1 June 2022, the Concello de Mos opened a municipal register for applicants seeking social housing, and by 10 June, 60 people interested in accessing this type of housing had already registered. The register remains open for any resident of the municipality to sign up, and with the registrations collected, the official regional register will be processed with the IGVS (Galician Institute of Housing and Land), which will allow the Xunta de Galicia to begin the necessary procedures to develop the planned housing.
This initiative forms part of a collaborative plan between the Xunta and the Concello to promote social housing in Mos, demonstrating both the existing demand and the coordination between administrations to offer housing alternatives in the municipality.
